With over 25 years of experience providing optimal care as a Physical Therapist Assistant and health care provider, Jeanie has a unique background that has allowed her to fulfill her passion assisting the senior population in maintaining a healthy, productive, and purposeful lifestyle.  She has always found fulfillment by helping residents achieve their personal therapy goals. Today, as a passionate Executive Director, she takes that drive and passion and looks forward to transitioning those ideals towards her “Best in Class” senior living values and ethics. Her vision is having a partnership where everyone works together towards a common goal; serving the residents’ needs as a whole while providing exceptional care. This trickle-down effect will positively impact both the staff and the families. 

Outside of Teal Shores, she is committed to practicing what she preaches and loves to hike with her husband and rescue dog, taking advantage of the many parks and nature reserves near her home. She enjoys life by writing and uses social media to inspire others to achieve their own goals with motivation and guidance. As an advocate for animals, she frequently donates to rescues or raises awareness for various causes. And as a “Bonus Mom” to two stepchildren, she is always ready for a new adventure.

Although Jeanie has had the pleasure of forming several professional long-term relationships throughout her career, her greatest reward has been serving the residents. The unexpected bonus was that many have developed into wonderful friendships that she still has today.

Samantha Sullivan is the Community Relations Manager at Teal Shores where she has found her passion for senior living. She holds a degree in social work, a background that greatly informs her approach to her role. Samantha thrives on making a positive impact in the lives of seniors and their families. She takes great pride in building meaningful relationships, listening to family stories and collaborating to find the best solutions for their loved ones. Samantha sees her role as more of an educator and resource, helping families navigate their senior living journey with confidence and care.

In addition to supporting residents and families, Samantha enjoys organizing events that showcase the vibrant community at Teal Shores. Her goal is to ensure residents, families and friends feel at home and enjoy meaningful time together.

Samantha enjoys life by relaxing with a good Netflix marathon, spending time getting lost in nature or enjoying time by the pool or at the beach. She also treasures time with her senior dog, Daisy.

Malia is the Lifestyle Enrichment Coordinator at Teal Shores, with over 23 years of experience working in senior living communities. Driven by a soulful mission to serve seniors, Malia is passionate about the “3 E’s” — Enriching, Engaging, and Encouraging seniors to enjoy life to the fullest. Her dedication to this work is evident in both her heart and actions, making a meaningful impact on the lives of those she serves.

Malia holds certifications in CBRF training, Dementia Specialist Training, and Leadership Training, including “How to be a Great Leader.”

In her free time, Malia enjoys life by partaking in outdoor activities like hiking, kayaking, and biking. She is also passionate about music, often listening to local musicians, playing her ukulele, and singing at open mic events.
