Rick Roeglin

Executive Director

Rick brings a deep commitment to compassionate care and leadership to his role as Campus Executive Director. His career in senior living began as a caregiver, where he quickly developed a passion for supporting older adults and their families. Over time, Rick advanced through roles in scheduling, client services, and marketing, gaining a well-rounded perspective on senior living operations.

His leadership journey includes serving as Executive Director at Wilson Commons for over three years before joining the team at ProHealth Regency Senior Communities – New Berlin. Rick holds a WALA CBRF Administrator’s License and is Senior Gems Dementia Certified, with additional training in computer networking.

Beyond Regency New Berlin, Rick enjoys life through travel and time spent with his wife, three adult children, two dogs, and a growing family of grandchildren. He believes in making the most of every moment and living life to the fullest!

Lisa Kay

Community Relations Manager

Lisa brings decades of leadership experience in customer service and care coordination to her role at Regency New Berlin. From managing retail teams to overseeing personal care programs, her career has always centered around people. For over three years, she’s enjoyed helping new residents and families find the perfect fit at ProHealth Senior Communities, Regency New Berlin.

Lisa is also a licensed floral designer and former beautician. She’s completed numerous management training courses throughout her career.

Outside of work, Lisa enjoys life being outdoors, especially in the summer and fall. She loves spending time up north with family, her two Bernese Mountain Dogs, and her boyfriend. A creative at heart, Lisa also enjoys drawing, decorating, gardening, and designing flowers for weddings.

Brooke Balk

Fitness Coordinator

Brooke Balk holds a Bachelor’s in Exercise Science from Luther College and a Master of Science in Applied Physiology and Kinesiology from the University of Florida. She is also a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) accredited by the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA).

Her career began with an undergraduate internship at The Charter House (Mayo Clinic, Rochester, MN), where she worked as a fitness instructor in their retirement living wellness program. She then spent four years coaching collegiate softball at Marian University (WI) and Bryant & Stratton College (WI), followed by a role as an Assistant Strength & Conditioning Coach at ETS Performance. In September 2023, Brooke joined Regency New Berlin as a Fitness Instructor and was promoted to Fitness Coordinator in October 2024, now overseeing fitness programs across all three Regency locations.

Brooke enjoys life by coaching youth softball as the Varsity Head Softball Coach at Muskego High School and as a youth softball instructor at OAW Indoor in New Berlin, WI. When she’s not coaching or working, she enjoys playing slow-pitch softball, hunting and fishing, gardening, reading, and exercising. She lives in Big Bend, WI, with her partner, Luke, and their three beloved four-legged companions—Rusty and Joey (dogs) and Tito (cat).

Jane Bohnenkamp

Director of Wellness

Jane’s professional journey began in Milwaukee, where she studied Communications at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee while working in sociocultural programming for the University. Her early career focused on adult programs and tours at the Milwaukee Art Museum, followed by roles in e-commerce and marketing at Harley-Davidson and Kohl’s Corporation. As she supported her aging family members, she realized her passion to serve older adults.
In 2018, she began developing and implementing memory care enrichment programs, and in 2020, she joined Regency’s enrichment team and built a comprehensive fitness program. Along the way, she earned a Graduate Certificate in Applied Gerontology from UW-Milwaukee. Jane is dedicated to promoting a preventative and growth-oriented mindset, empowering individuals to embrace new challenges and continue learning as they age—all while having fun!
Jane enjoys life by cooking for family and friends, heads north for cabin time in the woods, and hits the pavement for speedy walks with her husband Phil.
