Carla Kostecki

Executive Director

The positive, homey feeling you get when you walk into Harbor Campus stems from its wonderful staff, led proudly by Carla Kostecki. A 19+ year veteran in the senior living field, Carla has held a variety of jobs ranging from caregiver to management – so she knows the ropes and understands the importance of delivering excellent customer service. A strong believer in teamwork and organization, Carla runs a tight ship – but one where residents and staff alike are respected and valued. Carla is always checking in on people, making sure things are running smoothly. Pet Peeves? Carla is an understanding person, but she doesn’t like negativity or people who are chronically late. Someday, Carla hopes to travel more, but for the time being she is content leading her Harbor Team. “We have unique personalities in our community, but we all share the same common goal of giving our residents the best experience possible.”

Maria Florczak

Sales Counselor

Maria takes pride in helping people and making them feel welcome in the community. Although she never envisioned herself in this role, she enjoys the opportunity to assist others in a different way. One person Maria admires most is her mother, Jackie, who instilled in her the value of compassion and community support. Maria is known for her organizational skills and has a hidden talent for singing, when she was 10 years old she aspired to be a singer. Maria describes herself as short, loud and fun, and her colleagues see her as a source of energy and enjoyment.

When not at Harbor, you can find Maria meticulously organizing her planner, caring for her pet lizard and spending quality time with her family. Her personal motto is to do what brings happiness and trust that everything happens for a reason. If Maria could share one lesson with a resident, it would be to embrace mistakes as learning opportunities and never stop smiling.

Pam Duschene

Registered Nurse

Meet Pam, a compassionate team member whose role brings her immense pride through the residents she serves. She always saw herself in this position, bringing her natural skills of respect, empathy and humor to the job. Her colleagues describe her as helpful and kind. Outside of work, Pam finds happiness in spending time outdoors, enjoying bonfires, family gatherings and tending to her garden. Her personal motto is “Let Go Let God,” and she believes in living her best life. One important lesson she’s learned from the residents is grace.

Dawn Kratz

Lifestyle Enrichment Specialist

Dawn is a dedicated and passionate individual who takes pride in providing new experiences for residents. With a degree as an OTA, her journey began unexpectedly when she discovered the impact staff can have on the lives of seniors during a fieldwork placement. For the past 24 years, she has been building meaningful relationships with residents, and cherishing the positive influence they’ve had on her life. Dawn admires her mother, who instilled in her the value of taking life one day at a time. Caring, funny and active, Dawn’s colleagues see her as a patient listener who spreads kindness to people of all abilities. Her best skills include organization, creativity and a strong team ethic, making her an essential asset to her job. When she’s not working, Dawn enjoys spending time with her family, especially in the great outdoors, going for walks and watching movies. Dawn’s personal motto, inspired by her mother, remains, “Take one day at a time.”
