April Zwaschka has joined Capri Communities as a Senior Sales Specialist, providing sales support for assigned Capri Community properties. April is a graduate of Southern Methodist University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration. April has more than 18 years of sales and marketing experience, with 7 years in the senior living industry.
Prior to joining Capri Communities, April was a Senior Sales & Marketing Director for Brookdale Senior Living with a focus on growing occupancy levels, revenue production and managing the sales process and marketing plans. April has a well established network of relationships with local hospitals, rehabilitation centers, senior advocates and senior groups and provides guidance and support for solutions for seniors in need of a transition. Over the past 6 years, April has coordinated and facilitated over 60 annual CEU’s for professionals and families as well as provided monthly educational seminars to community partners.
April’s journey into the senior living industry 7 years ago was driven from a passion to serve others and to help those that cannot help themselves. Growing up with a disabled sibling, she always had a desire to move into a career that would be fulfilling and rewarding. April was born and raised in Wisconsin and currently lives with her husband, Matt, in West Allis. In her spare time she enjoys traveling, spending time with family and friends and cheering on the Packers.
