Liz Rundle

Executive Director

Liz serves as the Executive Director of the Gables of Germantown, bringing over a decade of experience in healthcare administration. She earned her bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration in 2009 and began her career managing small, 8-bed CBRF-licensed communities. After ten years, Liz joined Capri Communities in 2016 as the Assistant Director of Harbor Campus in Port Washington. Her exceptional leadership skills led to her swift promotion to Executive Director of Ruby Commons in Brookfield, where she successfully operated the community and secured its Assisted Living licensure.

After a year and a half at Ruby Commons, Liz transitioned to her current role at the Gables of Germantown. Under her leadership, the community has thrived, providing exceptional care and services to its residents.

Liz enjoys life by spending time with her husband and two daughters. Their extracurricular activities keep the family busy during the school year, while summer weekends are dedicated to outdoor adventures and quality time with family and friends.

Jamie Hickman

Campus Community Relations Manager

Jamie Hickmann brings over a decade of experience and a deep passion for senior living to her role as Campus Community Relations Manager at The Gables of Germantown. She earned her associate degree in medical assistance in 2008, a bachelor’s degree in health services administration in 2014, and joined Capri Communities in 2019.  Jamie finds joy in building relationships with residents, learning their stories, and becoming a part of their extended family.

A proud survivor of metastatic breast cancer, Jamie’s journey has shaped her philosophy to “live life to the fullest.” Diagnosed at 30 with a 3-month-old baby, she now shares her story to support others going through similar challenges.

In her free time, Jamie enjoys life by spending time outdoors with her husband, daughter Brynlee, and their dog Nala. Jamie embraces every moment, whether it’s watching Brynlee dance, play soccer, or practice gymnastics, or exploring trails up north on their RZR. Her dedication and passion for connecting with seniors make her an invaluable part of the Gables of Germantown team.

Kelly Gehring

Independent Living Manager

Kelly takes great pride in being chosen for a role that has never existed before at The Gables. In just her first two weeks, Kelly has formed strong connections with the residents and is excited to introduce new programs and ideas. She has always aspired for a fulfilling career and sees this opportunity as a step towards that. Her best skills for the job include her extensive experience with seniors, her caring nature, and being a dedicated team player. She describes herself as outgoing, caring, and down to earth.

One thing Kelly wants to do before she dies is to travel all over the U.S. and share those experiences with her children. Her goal for the next year is to save enough money to buy her first home with her fiancé. In her spare time, she loves spending time with her friends, and her personal motto is to appreciate each day and not worry about the little things. If Kelly could tell one of her residents something they’ve taught her, it would be to cherish every day and enjoy life to the fullest.
