Jeanne Morton

Executive Director

Capri Communities’ Enjoy Life philosophy really resonates with Jeanne, who joined the Vista West team as Executive Director in July 2020. She is excited to be part of an organization with such a positive commitment to innovation and excellence. A good listener, Jeanne appreciates that each person has a unique story and values the opportunity to learn from every resident. Kind and authentic, with Jeanne, what you see is what you get. When not at Capri, Jeanne loves to cook, travel and spend time with friends. She also loves to laugh, so if you have a funny story or new joke – Jeanne is your girl! We are delighted and fortunate that Jeanne is bringing her laughter, kindness, experience and resilient spirit to Vista West!

Shawnta Brooks

Assistant Executive Director

Shawnta starts her day in the morning cooking breakfast and getting her kids off to school. She comes to work at Vista West ready to start her day, knowing that she can make a difference in other people’s lives. She always admired her grandmother who taught her to be strong and follow her dreams. Shawnta is funny, reasonable, outgoing, and fair. All great qualities that our community loves and appreciates about Shawnta! When Shawnta isn’t spending time with residents at Vista West, you might find her spending her time with family, shopping, bowling, or just relaxing at home and living her life to the fullest!

Jackie Hill

Community Relations Manager

Jackie Hill is the Community Relations Director at Vista West, bringing a wealth of experience from various roles in education, senior living, and community service. A retired teacher and Curriculum Director, Jackie has also served as a Senior Living Concierge, Sales Counselor, and Community Relations Manager (CRM). Her dedication to helping others is further demonstrated by her active involvement as a volunteer with several organizations.

Jackie is a proud graduate of Marquette University, where she earned a teaching degree with an interdisciplinary major in human development and a minor in physics.

In her off-time, Jackie enjoys life by spending time with family and friends, traveling, hiking, reading, sewing, crafting, gardening, and staying active in sports.

Caitlin Mattern

Lifestyle Enrichment Coordinator

Caitlin takes great pride in creating opportunities for residents to connect and form friendships within her community. Though she didn’t envision herself in this role initially, her background in in-home caregiving and her caring nature led her here. Besides her professional skills, Caitlin has a hidden talent – she’s teaching herself hoop dancing. When she’s not working, she cherishes spending time with her 3-year-old daughter, exploring playgrounds, museums, splash pads and the zoo. With friends, Caitlin enjoys snowboarding and attending rock concerts. If she could share one lesson from her residents, it would be to embrace new experiences and not fret over the small things.
